Allergic Reaction

I guess anything is possible but if you have those reactions again I would suggest you see your Doctor. I think riding the body of nicotine does effect the way you feel. I have never had reactions to nuts, ect. before or after quitting. I believe so. I'm not medical professional, but I feel that you certainly can develop reactions you never had before. I turned purple on one of my quits - never did figure out what I was allergic to, but it went away when I started again. then I didn't get that on this quit. *shrugs* go figure. Last night I think I had a strange allergic reaction to something I ate: either cashews or MSG? I've never had this sort of reaction before to anything. I'm one of those "not allergic to anything", robust sorts of people. But last night, my face swelled some and became red, I had shortness of breath, I threw up, got a horrible head-ache, and got horrible chills/shakes/shuddering. No fever, but I was felt so cold..it was awful. So my question is: is it possible that quitting smoking could have affected my body chemistry in a way that I'm becoming allergic to something I never used to react to? -Shakes My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 261 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,220 Amount Saved: $2,349.00 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 17 Mins: 24 Seconds: 31
