Ahhhhh, you guys make me feel soooo much better. In fact, I'm over the 60 "blip" that I had, and am well prepared to enjoy guilt free PJ days if need be. It pays to be patient with this quit journey that we're on, because on phrase keeps coming back to me, and it couldn't be more true.... ~~~~THIS TOO, SHALL PASS~~~~ That phrase, as well as the wonderful support you give me, keeps me going strong. Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/27/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 62 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,550 Amount Saved: $527.00 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 1 Mins: 51 Seconds: 9

Jan it's so good to see you doing so well in your quit. Lol, I think I spent the first 6 months or so of my quit, daily, either having (or wanting) a PJ day so I think you're as normal as the rest of us. I say give yourself all the time you need to heal, protect your quit and reward yourself with a pj day whenever you can, even if you have to take time off work. Keep up the great job! :) Pat My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 425 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 17,000 Amount Saved: $5,950.00 Life Gained: Days: 51 Hrs: 22 Mins: 17 Seconds: 32

Hi Jan - I'm always late since I don't get in here as often as I used to. You are right on target (I think) I need to put all of my challenging jobs in the morning because that is when I have the most energy (so writing reports, doing housework, and those things get done first)...the easier jobs come next (grocery shopping, phone calls at work, etc.) and by the evenings I am ready to relax. I kinda had to change the way I do things BUT the good news is that, after a year, I am able to reward myself with a coffee and a magazine break instead of a cigarette when I am doing chores. On the other hand, I still don't like long phone calls at night and I don't play cards much anymore (go figure) sooooooo I make my important phone calls on Sat or Sunday mornings. Keep up the good work! We are cheering for you! Hey guys, I appreciate each and every response I get! I must admit I'm feeling pretty good today, and I'm not going to get on to myself for having "me" time -- even if it is an afternoon of lounging and watching tv. Heading towards 60 days and grateful for each and every smoke free one of them! Glad I'm not doing this alone! Sometimes maybe we give too much *credit* to smoking and perhaps we are just having a day when we need to rest. Has nothing to do with smoking or not smoking at all...Just is. I love having a afternoon of lounging and watching movies. It is actually what I do to treat myself. I know that before quitting, when I still smoked, I had days when I was in a bad mood I couldnt sleep I ate too much I was grouchy I was teary I didnt know exactly what to do with myself So I refuse to blame quitting on days when this happens again. Gives smoking too much power. Hey Jan, A PJ day is perfectly normal and well deserved. In fact, my husband and I say it's a great weekend if we get to stay in our PJ's. He always gets antsy after a few hours and has to find stuff to do but, me? I love taking it easy and "laxing" when I can!! BTW, I think it might be time for another PJ party !!?? :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 248 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,440 Amount Saved: $1,190.40 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 13 Mins: 19 Seconds: 32
