Hey Guys & Gals,

I have noticed that the thoughts of smoking are certainly decreasing in number on a daily basis. I am not staying in bed longer to avoid missing that first cig with my coffee. Now, I really don't think about smoking until a stress of some sort pops up during the day, and at that point; it is usually just a passing thought, that quickly passes. So yes--it definintely gets easier with time.

The freedom of not planning your life around the next smoke is also huge. Partys, cooking, cleaning, visiting, traveling, work, play are all free of being managed by how you will fit a smoke in.

I am exercising with so much more ease. Both breathing and circulation have tremendously improved....

Yes--things have changed & it is sweet....So hang in there and reap the rewards that will certainly come your way if you hang tough....

Deb

Hello all, i lived through the no smoking ban in California and it was awful  i went down bite , clawing and kicking LOL i was very stubborn about my right to smoke until i found out i had no rights LOL. Now i look back at that person dont exist anymore , when i see people smoking i think i feel sorry for them becasue they are a slave to that ole nicodeamon, and i hate hearing  ( I CANT QUIT) i think that is a dumb statement,  I hate the smell, and iam very lucky i dont have to be around it unless its in front of a store etc out in public.  Being smoke free is just cool no matter how you look at it, i hope everyone can get er done :) Tresa

Mike, I have to agree.

The other thing I noticed, is my entire outlook on life is more positive and I don't sweat the small stuff.

I"m arguing less, and I have a tendency to spend more time doing positive things.

Life is good!!

Could it be because physically I'm feeling better ?

Mike,

It helps you understand why many veterans now conduct themselves like non-smokers rather than ex-smokers!! You are getting there yourself, yeah?! Just keep doing it and today, don't smoke and listen out for the Celtics' cheers!!!!

Best Wishes
