Yeah--I've decided that I'm not going to get too stressed about actually how it's working as long as it is. The gum is actually starting to gross me out and the taste is becoming vile. Nonetheless, when I really have a craving, popping the gum, even for a few chews, seems to help. Amazingly, even in eight days, I find that I'm not coughing as much, if at all. I'm feeling kind of strange today--lonely. I think I'm missing my friend, the cigarette. I think I need to pick a new inanimate object for a friend--one that's not trying to kill me. thanks for all your support. Lisa
