That is such good news my quit buddy. I'm happy for both of us. I haven't been able to write too much between work and my neighbor who is needing so much help.
I spent the entire day at the hospital today him. I don't think it will be too much longer.
Enjoy your vegetables, as I am enjoying mine. I understand the courage it takes to face cancer-- in whatever direction it goes. And I admire you as much for that as I do for your quit. You truly are a rock.

Thanks Josie and Lisa! I spent some of my savings from not buying cigarettes for 2 months at the Ralph Lauren outlet store over the weekend! So now I have 2 new shirts that don't smell like smoke, and boy do they smell great! Thanks to all for your support and advice over the past two months.
Oh, and some good news, if you remember, it was my oncologist who advised that I stop smoking, otherwise she would keep me on coumadin the rest of my life. I had blood work on Monday, results show that I am still cancer free and the blood clot has dissolved!!! I get to come off the coumadin on 11/1!!! Seven months on blood thinners were enough for me! We all have different motivations for stop smoking, and unfortunately, it took a doctor's warning for me to quit. My next reward will be eating a big spinach salad with broccoli, asperagus, and all of the other green vegetables I haven't been able to eat for seven months!!!
