T.h. try to remember that smoking does nothing to help you handle the stress. When the smoke is gone the problem remains. It only postpones you working. Quitting is more than not smoking a cig anymore. It means you have to learn to handle stress in a new way. You have to face it, no more hiding behind the thick blue haze. Try to learn to just jump in and take care of problems as they arise. Your cig has not in the past and will not in the future, help you or handle for you the problems that arise. I don't recall reading if you are using anything to help you quit. I used the patch and I don't think I could have done it without it. I am a real nervous type and also used an anxiety medication from my Dr. Perhaps you may need something to help you get through the roughest time. There is no shame in it. The only real shame would be to continue to smoke. Use what ever you need to beat the nico demon. He plays dirty
