Thanks all for your kind words! Its the support of this site that keeps me going! Its kinda funny, when I would hit milestones I would sent a snapshot of my quit meter to coworkers, family, and friends showing them my success. I was talking to one of my friends yesterday about today being 150 smoke free days and she said "You're a non smoker now. Do you really have to send me another non smoking email?" Then she laughed and gave me a hug! There is a point when you, your family, your friends, and your coworkers consider you a non-smoker. I guess I've reached that point! Now, I will still celebrate milestones and reward myself as much as needed! :) For my reward, I'm going to go long term. I'm not spending about $250 a month on cigarettes. So I've decided starting this month and going forward through December, I am going to donate my money not spent to my alma mater to help fund a new scholarship to help deserving students attend college. That will be $3,000 this year. I'll still find little things to reward myself as needed, but this will be my big reward! Helping myself by not smoking and helping somebody else with college expenses. Thanks again!
