oh duh, I guess my smokes would have sunk with my luggage. Hahaha. Even worse... I'd have run back in to get them.
Astro, that is pretty darn funny. Yes, lean back and have a smoke. lalala
Marple - Have some faith... if I were president, I would declare all calorie counts be taken off packaging. There would be a national See's holiday. And free liposuction health care.
Oh, that Hillary. There was a shot of the White House, there is a balcony on top with potted trees. I'd be up there sneaking one.

I'm not real sure I would want you in either of those situations, HP! But I am glad that you could accomplish any of those events without the urge to smoke.
I had heard earlier on a news show that he was 'trying' to quit, but slipping here and there. He's probably blasting Hilary (again) since she made the entire White House non-smoking during her riegn as first lady!
Of course, I also saw a tour of the white house, and there are lots of little alcoves where you could probably sneak one....also a design during the Clinton administration---of course, those were probably Monica's idea!

We would never know it's him until he starts asking us for donations.
lol
Guess I've been watching the news lately and putting my new nonsmoking self into the situation. Such as...
the jet that went into the Hudson. Now could you imagine standing out there on an airplane wing and wanting a smoke? or maybe getting on dry land and that overwhelming urge to smoke but you are in a nonsmoking rescue station.
What I DO know is that I am so freakin' happy to not be a smoker and trying to figure out ways or wheres to smoke!!!! This truly is a life of freedom! We do find that out at some point and it's like a big stone being lifted off.
So now I can be president or in a water ditching and not have to worry. lol
best,

I just found out that our new President is trying to quit smoking. Did you guys know that? I didn't.
Guess he didn't exactly get quit and is sneaking a smoke here and there.
I was watching all the festivities today and thinking... Could you imagine finally getting sworn in after two years of campaigning but wanting a cigarette.. with all those people around. GAAAAK
They showed him getting in his car and popping a piece of nicorette.
My mind would be mush!
I'd be on the Hotline to the CIA for witness protection program so I could just have a smoke. LOL
Well, poor guy. He is in that awful netherworld of not quite quit. I think all of us can have some sympathy.
Anybody got an extra copy of Alan Carr to send him?
