Went to work yesterday and had a bit of a setback. At home today and waiting to call for an appt with the Dr. This is getting to be really irritating My Milage:

Hello Marivi! Feeling better, thanks for asking! Still a little pain, which I notice more at bedtime, and on soft foods. I have annual training all next week, which is exhausting when I'm on top of the world, so I will probably be wiped out by next weekend! I'll be looking for some R&R then, so I hope the train is taking us someplace relaxing.....
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers---they worked!

I'm sure he'd be happy to make a broccoli salad for you! And if he is busy with his lemur, I can make one for you! Congratulations on receiving your HOF gifts! I hope it is good medicine for you!

Thanks for all the well wishes, guys! I meant to mention, last week when I felt my worst, I received my SSC t shirt and keyring. It arrived when I was a bit down and wondering why I quit, just to be sick---very timely.
I am so happy for your son, Jan! How exciting for him. When I was a rookie I couldn't believe that I actually got paid to shoot guns and drive fast cars---I was in heaven. However, he can tell you it is (especially now days, in our politically correct world), nothing like depicted on TV. Every 15 minutes of excitement is followed up with about 5 hours of paperwork. When I train new recruits the one thing I like to drill into them is to learn to balance home/work. This is just a job---home is what is most important. I wish him luck and happiness in his pursuits!
You would think, since I have been sick, that I would have lost a lot of weight being on liquids only. Four lousy pounds is all! Had a rough night last night. I admit I snuck a peice of bread, and paid dearly all night long. This stinks!
Dr. Rock-I promise I'll follow orders better. When this is over, do you think you're friend CT will make me a broccoli salad?
