I'm hoping for you that all the tests come back fine and you discover that you're the picture of health. Isn't it odd how we used smoking as a crutch when we didn't want to deal with things? I'm trying to remember all the tools I've got in place and reading posts like yours and responding is helping me so much. Normally I'd have gone out and smoked about three cigarettes since getting to work this morning but so far, just being on this site has kept me from even leaving my office once!
Keep us posted - I'm saying prayers that all is well with you.
N.O.P.E.

Today has been a hard day. I went to see my dr today and he has ordered more tests for my thryoid, ultrasounds to see what the problem is and why its enlarging. Then he orders me to where a heart monitor to watch my heart palpitations I have been having. Ok, I'm 32 and a bit scared by all of this. And normally I would run to the car and light up a cigarette. So it was a bit tough today when I got to that point of leaving and feeling very stressed and scared and am obviously not smoking anymore. So this morning was tough and I am adjusting to finding comfort in other places now. I'm thankful for this site, because right now it is giving me comfort:) I am happy to not be smoking. I was proud to tell my dr I had quit and he said thats great instead of him telling me you really need to quit and that felt good! Just venting my emotions and thoughts. Its funny how something so stupid and harmful controlled my life for so long. Thank god its not today!! I'm Saying N.O.P.E!!
