Lelaknight,
Congratulations on Your 90 days.  I loved reading your post.  I am so happy for you.  I am feeling a little lazy myself these days and I take that as a good sign that I am getting relaxed with the new me.  Have a great time on your trip sounds fun.

Lela, congrats on 90 smoke free days!  What a wonderful trip you have planned!  And you are right, it is so much easier to travel without smoking!  I'm glad you survived fashion week and every other stress in your life, smoke free.  Like we always so, smoking isn't going to fix anything, so its best to just say N.O.P.E!!!  As for the less stressed, isn't that a great side effect?  And don't worry about the lazyness.  Maybe start taking some walks in the city?  Central Park?  Find something to do outside the house.  Now that you are 90 days smoke free, its time to find new hobbies to keep you busy!  We're all rooting for your continued success!

Leelaknight!

Congratulations!  You have really fought for this and you are getting there!  Keep fighting through the craves and you will beat this once and for all.  You deserve this and I have to say you are strong and courageous!   What is your favourite part about being smoke free?

This is it, leelaknight. You nailed it. The story you are telling is the story that so many people on this site shared at different moments in their quit. Is the acknowledgment that you were once an addict... but now you realize it and learn how to live your life without the addiction.
Congratulations! In my quit, that was the moment when I felt like I finally start to get a grip on the quit. And I did pat myself on the back, feeling like I own the world, like I grew up a little, like there was some major secret of life that I finally learned...
Watch your back though... The little, tricky thing comes back to "visit" from time to time... Don't let your guard down... just learn to laugh at the triggers, and move on.
I am so happy to see where you are. Reward yourself big time for this! You definitely earned it!
Keep the quit
Cristina

i got the 90 days on sat i get my 3mths... and i have never been happier- ok it's a lie, i am feeling ruff and struggling-

but...i am doing this... i have never ever- since 16...yeah 16 years ago...gone this long.  i have celebrated b-days with smokers, i have worked all day with smokers on the streets (thanks gross nyc)...i have survived a fashion week, convinced my assistant to quit cause i did it... i have survived my roommate smoking every night outside my window- i have fought with her-fought w my mother, had crap days at work, wanted to murder my barking chihuahuas (so not true)

But at 3mths... it's starting to really sink in...when i get a crave, i see it...when i get mad, get mad at the actual anger not that i can't have a smoke...i am actually 10 times less stressed- who knew...i actually feel lazy and i am trying to fix that hahaha!

i am madly in love with my stats- glad i didn't start over after my 1 accident...
i am also madly insanely in love with my freedom...i am leaving tomorrow for my sisters- no more flight hot box before and after the plane...no more sneaking around my sister (1 year quit) plans to go running get mai/pedi's, bachlorette party without gross smokes...sitting poolside- ahhhhh~ sorry hahaha... i could go on and on...but i just need to say that even with the struggle every heavy broken, tripped step is worth everything!!!
