Hoping this means your Friday night is ending a bit better than it started for you, Riverdale Man. :)
I knew exactly what you were going through -- just didn't know what to say to help you through.
MissyFit seems to helped a number of us to have an "ah-ha!" moment tonight. You're an angel. Thanks Missy! ;)

Hi Sully,
Very normal part of quitting! Almost every quitter used smoking as a crutch for something. Now that you've quit you have to learn how to replace that cruth with better coping mechanisms.
Here's a thread that may be helpful to you click here
Hope this helps.

Much, much appreciated post, MF!
Breaking these associations given my 2 ppd habit is all about shear will much of the time for me and I long for the days when the thoughts are a rarity.
I'm doing it and being patient with myself. Sometimes it's just good to know that someone gets it.
Thanks! :)

serenity,
How strong your sister was to be able to change her thinking. That certainly puts things in perspective doesn't it? Makes those few smoking thoughts seem pretty trivial in comparison.
Thanks :)
Misty, it's the same you...only better! It's an eye opener isn't it? lol
Pen...thanks. :) It always helps to hear from someone ahead of us on this road.
P.Loving... haven't seen you lately. Hope you're still hanging in there!
lady di... keep working towards that year... you'll be there before ya know it...and you'll never want to go back. :)
