You know, Eya, you and your hubby remind me a bit of my wife and myself. My wife quit CT about 8 months ago. It was fairly easy for her, which I have never figured out. I kept my word and only smoked outside or in our garage, even on the coldest days, so as not to tempt her back to the dark side. I never realized how rarely she would kiss me during that time until I quit – now I don’t know how I ever went without! While I still feel a bit selfish for having smoked for as long as I did after she quit, I knew I had to be ready to quit in order to be successful. I think it’s great that your husband is keeping your home tobacco-free, I’m sure that is making things much less difficult for you. Is he thinking about quitting? Three weekends in a row and still going strong… how about that!? In some ways, for me, it feels like just yesterday I crumpled up my pack and threw it out. In other ways, it feels like quite a long time ago. I am definitely getting used to being smoke-free, though. It seems like you are enjoying your freedom as well! Keep up the great quit!
