Roses Good for you for taking responsibility for your own health. I'm on the same path as you are. Started walking daily in October and eating sensibly as well. Lots of garden salad , fish and small portions as well. Like anything else " Easy Does It " but " Do It ". Exercise in moderation so as to not get hurt. Taking it on a day to day basis. breather

Thought I start a new thread today..On Weight loss after stopping smoking..A place where we could share what's working for us..
 
I have been doing a Low Carb High Fat diet and walking daily and have finally started to see some weight lose this last month..
I have lost 9 pounds in 30 days and my blood sugar, blood pressure and lipid numbers and looking a lot better..
Plus I still don't smoke anymore..
