Very well said, PB........right on the button!  I only regret not having made this 50-day investment 30 years ago.  The freedom is WONDERFUL!!!!

Welcome to the best website you'll ever stumble across if your serious about quitting smoking. I feel the need to write this to give you information about your journey. I, by no means am an expert, but I do know a few things about what your going to experience. First, read and try to follow the program, set your quit date, and prepare for a war. I am seeing a lot of people writing in about how they're not sure, they don't know if they can do this. If there is one thing you must have, it is resolve! You must KNOW your going to quit. Yes, you will HURT, yes you will CRAVE, you will SUFFER withdrawl, you will experience hot flashes, you will feel things that you don't want to feel. But, you, and you alone are claiming your FREEDOM, you are taking your life back. You must ask yourself everytime you feel weakness WHY? Why did I quit? Your quit not only affects you, but all of your loved ones around you. The withdrawl, the craves, the uncomfortable feelings we experience are nothing compared to what our loved ones would be feeling watching us gasp for every breath year after year, only to finally put us in the ground after watching us suffer for years because we were to weak to stop our addiction to nicotine. That my friends is honesty, and the reality of smoking. So to everyone having doubts, quit means quit, and withdrawl is only temporary, quit is forever. Remember why, learn every day what triggers you to want to smoke and deal with it, and take it one minute, one hour, one day, one week at a time. It is a long journey, and there are a lot of heros walking the path on this site ready to extend there hands to you and help you along the way. Just be ready to fight the good fight, and ready to reclaim your life.
