Members, has anyone had any experiences similar to chiggles? If so, what did you do?
Chiggles, stay close, and keep us posted on how you are doing,
One of my anxiety triggers - my main trigger - is food! I can't eat red meat, curries, anything strong in flavour at all... Also, I can't have caffeine, sugary foods (ie. soft drinks etc), or anything acidic... Basically I've been living on chicken soup, rice, vegetables and fruit for the last month!
Any sensation in my stomach (hunger, digestion, feeling full) causes anxiety as it feels similar to the nausea I get with anxiety (or so I've rationalised anyway - I could be wrong). I also have germy thoughts constantly (go the hand washing!), and won't even take my multi-vitamins just in case they make me feel different, or in case the ginseng assists in causing anxiety.
It's not the worst problems, I know, but it's still enough to be affecting my quality of life substantially. Constantly feeling nauseous is not pleasant at all, and having to constantly think about food and what to eat (let alone the monontany of my diet!) is horrible also...
