Davit,

You have a green thumb!  I tried gardening (once).  I planted an equal amount of seeds for various fruits and veggies.  I ended up with, literally, 6 green beans and I boiled them up and ate them; they were delicious.  The few various melons and pumpkins were all pale and sad and inedible :(  But, I must have done something right, because I had a prolific patch of cucumbers and zucchinis (zoo-keenies - I think I baffled myself and spell check on that one).  I had, and ate, so many yellow summer squash that I couldn't eat them for two years :)  So, upon my partial gardening success, I would say I have a yellow thumb :)

I'm just the opposite, I like the Cantaloupe better, but honey dew grows faster and bigger.

Davit,

Your honeydew mellow is beautiful.  Thanks for putting up a picture of it.  I have been waiting to see a picture of your harvest this year.

Cleo,

It so good to hear you are having a wonderful vacation with your husband.  You both deserve this time together. Have a great time at the Buschart gardens together.  Maybe you can put up a picture when you get back.  I would love to see it.

It is in the green house and is about 5 1/2 inches now, it will go to probably 7 before it is ripe to eat. It is a honeydew melon. The cantaloupe are a bit smaller and I didn't have any casaba seed this year. I have 16 plants and will get an average of 4 on each, more if the weather is good. Yes even in Canada, Just south of Prince George. (In latitude). I have now topped the plant to stop it from making more growth, It is seven feet long. I have watermelons also but they grow real slow to start with. Totally organic and delicious vine ripe with no chemical taste. Well worth the trouble.

I am so glad you had fun. Buschart gardens, wow, been there once, walk your feet off. Don't let your hubby read this, we don't want him to know how lucky you are. You sound truly happy. I'm happy, I want everyone happy.

Hi Everyone,
I'm putting this post under Relaxation/Lifestyle cause it really hasn't much to do with anxiety.... thankfully! Boy, I was away 3 days and there's so much to catch up on!  Lots of new people and posts. I had a nice camping trip..calm...fun.. am going to the city with hubby for  2 days...going to have  high  tea at this fancy hotel and he's also  agreed to go to the  Buschart gardens!  I'm so looking forward to that! All about give and take..... then vacation is over. Forgive my ignorance, Davit,  but I tried to read through all your posts to see if you gave  your new avatar's identity away...is it a watermellon? In Canada? I can't make out on the measuring tape how big it is.
Enjoy, Cleo

                Hi Luciana,

Thanks for replying to my post, you asked about setting goals, one of my goals is to do exposure work by
going into stores at least once a day and working through my negative self talk until I can go in and be
relaxed through the whole experience. The self esteem book is helping as I started the exercises and
the CD's are also. I have been doing my paperwork from this program also, and it helps to right things
down. I have to say that I can feel the difference, and I'm proud of myself for not giving up.

Hi Sweatbee,

Thanks for checking in with us again. It seems to me that even though the counselor you went to see didn't really have a game plan, you are certainly making one for yourself. You have the self esteem workbook, the CDs on changing your thoughts and you are giving this program another try.

Setting goals is also an important step in this process. After all, if you don't set goals, how can you reach them? So, what goals will you be setting for yourself?

Come back often to let us know how you are doing.

You still sound unhappy and that is close to negative. I'm not trying to be critical here I just wanted you to know it incase you hadn't noticed. There are so many ways that anxiety and depression sneak in and that is one of them.

I am very glad to see you are trying the program again. I think your therapist is too Freudian. Mine is not like that at all. Mine walks me through all the things I am doing wrong and gives me solutions not more questions.

I think you are very lucky to have a supportive husband, with his help maybe you don't need a therapist especially an annoying one.

Good luck.
Davit.
