Thank you everyone for your compliments. I appreciate it. I'm working on another quilt now, a double size one. Just the borders and the binding left to do. I still have three other quilt tops waiting for me this winter. Not sure if I'll do them all, but we will see. I've been wanting to do another bear's paw one, so might do that too.
Thank you for putting up a pic of the baby comforter/quilt you have been working on. It's just lovely. I really love the soft pinks they are so calming. I can see that you put a lot of love into it. I am sure they are going to love receiving it also. I will have to look up the Irish Chain pattern on line I might want to use it on my next quilt.. I am almost finished with my quilt also. I just have to finish hand stitching the binding down now...and then its on to another project..
Red, here is a pic of the baby comforter/quilt I just finished. It is the Irish Chain pattern. The dark squares in the 9-patch can be all one colour, I chose pink prints to go with the soft pink background. The narrow inside border is made up of all the pink prints, then the background soft pink for the wider border, then the binding is the same as the narrow border consisting of all the prints.
