My doctor keeps saying " if you were diabetic you would have to take pills or insulin everyday, just think of it as you have an imbalance and it needs to be corrected" Only if i could actually believe that when i am ready to take them. They have been in my hand and ready to take but i eventually put them back in the bottle. If things dont get better i might really consider them. I have to keep telling myself that something is going to work so i need to try new things. I hope this program can help me without meds but if not i would feel like any less of a person than what i am because i know that i have a problem and it needs to be taken care of:) Hope i get some feedback from others on meds. We will see. GOOD LUCK:)
I have not tried the meds, because I to have a major fear of them. I can't wait to hear how it works for others too, and maybe with the help of this program we can change our thinking, and take the meds if that is what it takes to overcome this :) :)
Thanks for the reply:) My doctor knows of all the doses and medication that i am taking (and not taking) :) I was just prescribed the lexapro and would like to know if anyone has any past experience. Thanks again:)
Always ensure your doctor is aware of any changes to your medication. As a Health Educator and not a doctor I cannot comment on the medication but I am sure some members will be along shortly to share their experiences.
I am wondering if anyone has tried the generic version of lexapro? My doctor prescribed this to me the other day because my anxiety is starting to get worse. I am very scared to try any new medication (it all comes with having anxiety) and would like some feedback on this. I take lorazepam when i have a really tough day but i dont even like to take those at times. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
