We woke up to snow coming down. Every thing is white. It is rather lovely looking out the window. It is the first snow so it won't stay. There are a few leaves still on the trees so we forgot how late in the season it was getting. I wonder how many people still have potatoes to dig.
Sunny lit the cook stove to take the chill off and it is crackling nicely. It goes well with coffee and conversation in the morning.
The down side is that I still have some work to do outside, so now I have a choice, I can carry the lovely moment I'm having now with me all day or I can be pissed because it is going to be cold and miserable working out there. I've learned to just take one day at a time and what I don't get done this fall will still be there next spring. Like a couple of lights that need to be put on the front of the house. I don't climb ladders anymore so Sunny will have to do it.
So, time to get at it, there is some blue sky, it might be a good day after all. Oh hell it will be what ever I make it, right.
Sorry about the tree branch and all but you know what one good thing did come out of it, your story did give me a little smile here when I was feeling all sorry for myself and down..
Yeah I think I know what you mean. I'm running out of good weather. I'm also pushing myself a bit more than my body likes. Health issues definitely cause me anxiety. Funny thing is it isn't pain but the loss of time it causes that is the problem. Today I ran out of daylight, a couple of days ago I stuck my angle grinder on my leg. Just hurrying and careless. Ruined my pants and some skin. Oh and the weather has not been co-operating. Actually I will be better when it snows and shuts me down. At least I'll be somewhat ready for it this year. Until then what can I do but ride out the ups and downs of my shattered life.

Ps. Yesterday I got stuck between a branch on an apple tree and the tractor, Sunny had to come out and cut the branch off. Bit embarrassing that.
