The feelings you are having are normal for this, I feel frightened alot, some days a lot worse than others. It is panic attacks, anxiety, you feel like you are losing it - even forgetting where I put my keys & I panic that this is the start of losing control or having a breakdown.
The thing is it never happens, like everything with panic attacks & anxiety - nothing really bad ever happens, our body is just on high alert all the time! We go numb somewhere & that is all we can think about, get a sharp pain in the back or leg & that is all we can think about, and we think the worst - that makes our symptoms worse.
You are going to be fine, I hope you have looked at the CBT therapy as it is really helping me & I am not even half way through it.
Just remember, nothing really bad has happened & it won't.
