Congrats on the new job. It sounds like it will be a very positive experience for you.
As CardioTech said, it is impossible to know for sure how you will react. In my oppinion you will likely be a bit anxious as anyone starting a new job would likely be somewhat anxious. Change is anxiety provoking for most people. What are some strategies you plan on using to manage the anxiety?
Oh I live on my own from January to early or mid May and I was fine being on my own and yes I'll have my wonderful bosses and nice coworkers around me, so there will be people, nice people around me. I just meant I haven't been outside of my home for many hours by myself in a very long time. Like when I grocery shop I go with my neighbour.
I don't think anyone can predict how you will react.
Yes....you will be somewhat nervous and anxious....just like anyone would be when starting a new job. You said you like your bosses, the employees seem nice and the atmosphere relaxed. Those sound like things that would reduce your anxiety.
You said you haven't been alone for many hours outside your home...but will you actually be alone?? Wont your bosses and co-workers be there too?? Or do you mean you haven't been away from your family members for many hours? That may produce some anxiety....but again...if you are comfortable with the people around you, hopefully it wont be too bad.
I start my new job tomorrow. It is a full time job. I want to know if I have not had an attack in a very, very long time but also have not been alone for many hours for a long time outside of my home how will I react? I really like my bosses, the people seem friendly, and the atmosphere seems busy but relaxed.
