I don't know if you have started the program, but if not you should definitely give it a try. I have the same problem with meeting/interacting with people, and starting relationships, but even though I'm only in the first few weeks of the program it has really helped. As Diva mentioned, you just need to challenge your anxious thoughts from very small situations to gradually larger ones. You eventually feel more and more comfortable as you go along and are capable of doing greater things.
I know that I make that sound a lot easier than it is, and it is hard, but try out the program and I'm sure you'll have success.
