Hey there, I am sorry to hear that you are having such a bad time of it- may be like me that you cant tollerate the SSRI family of drugs (?) but you should call your doc and ask him/her. Also, ask about maybe breaking up the dose of your Klonopin (clonzopan is generic for klonopin) into three doses instead of just one at bedtime- 7AM, 3PM, 10PM might work better for you as that would give your nervous system a continuous hit to the anxiety and might just be the answer to get you through this bad period..?? I am on xanax as I think you know, and I break up my total 1.25mgs dose into three medication times and it works really well for me. I hope this helps- and I really hope today is better! :) Beth

i'm very sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time. i, too, am closing in on my 6th decade, and i wonder if it will get better. i hope that your doctor understands the concerns you have with your meds & offers alternatives. zoloft appears to have worked for some, but others, like yourself, have intolerable side effects. as far as your attacks,i've tried just about everything...walking,counting,talking out loud...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. worth a shot, anyway. let me know how your day plays out.

dear want to be free, I know how you are feeling. I am getting off fevarin and doing it slowly and under medical supervision but I am not feeling too well either - mostly nauseated a lot:) But don't give up, you are strong and brave and have accomplished a lot. Everyone has setbacks, it's just THIS type of disorder. But try and find some good sides in your life. Read some jokes or a good book, if you can concentrate, listen to some good music or watch some stupid old or new soap opera - that's what I do when I feel blue. Iwona.

my dr. put me on zoloft and this morning i started getting bad side affects from it. tremors, indigestion, you name it. i stopped taking it and called my dr. but they havent got back to me yet. i guess im back to square one again. im on clonazapam which seems to work at night time, but lately ive been waking up at 4 a m with panic. im so sick and tired of fighting this thing. i went a few years without these things but they came back. they take all the fun out of life. im 60 yrs old now and sure hope they come up with a miracle drug for us in my life time. help
