geez this is my first visit to this site and already ive been compelled to reply to three topics! I too have the constant jittery feelings, but mine mainly manifests itsself as constantly needing the toilet, but not actually needing too if you get me? ive been told by my doctor(im from the UK by the way so maybe our medical practices differ from the USA)and to a councillor and they both nreasssured me that it is normal, unpleasant for sure but normal! rthewy said it may be that im trying to do too much too soon! maybe thats something to think about! good luck peeps!

To the previous poster-do you really get that feeling of being off balance-me too. I have been so worried about it. I feel unbalance walking or sitting. My doctor isn't concerned but sent me for an MRI which was normal. Despite this its very alarming and keeps me constantly worried.

Hi Cookie, I had the same thing for months before I started taking meds. Felt like I had drank about 20 cups of coffee. I was off balance, spacey, couldn't concentrate, really shaky and tense...like I had a constant surge of adrenaline running through my body. I wished I could just have one panic attack and have it over with...but that feeling lasted for weeks. Once I started on Paxil it went away. I believe it was constant anxiety on top of the panic, it was annoying because no matter how relaxed I was, I always felt on edge. I would tell your doctor about it.

[color=Purple]I have had that feeling before, kind of like you are a cat on a hot tin roof. It is awful, almost like having a panic attack waiting in the wings. I hate it. I have helped this by just saying to myself OK so have a panic attack, in the mean time I am going to feel like **** but, I don't care anymore. It seems to work for me. Hope you are feeling better. Thank you for your reply. I did learn something new today. I am anemic which causes fatigue and shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat. We'll see if iron supplements help this case of the jitters. I pray so! Also, my blood sugar seemed high but when they did the overall test it turned out that overall it isn't high at all and it was just a case of what I had eaten. When I am anxious my blood pressure escalates but today it was just fine, too. I have been feeling a little fatigued and under the weather which always makes anxiety adn jitters worse, but I think I am getting better. Hope you all are doing well!

I don't know about the mania part but I do know that I also find myself quite jittery at times without actually being panicky. Maybe it's more of a generalized anxiety disorder? I've read that with that type of anxiety you feel anxious all the time whether or not you actually have panic attacks. Mine goes in waves. Some days I feel pretty good then other days it is constant. One minute I'll be just kind of nervous and then it will escalate into an attack and then back down again to just being nervous and back up, off and on all day. I know how you feel and I know it sucks! Are you taking advantage of the 12 week panic program from this website? I have been and it seems to be helping. I don't know if it will completely go away by the time I've gotten through the 12 weeks, but I have learned a lot about myself since starting it. It's a free service and an absolute God-send! Try it out if you haven't already. Hang in there and know you are not alone! - Even a thousand mile journey begins with one step.

I am having a problem where I am constantly jittery and tense whether or not I am having an actual panic attack. In fact, I think I would welcome a 15 minute panic attack and then life back to normal over this constant state of jittering and tingling. Does anyone else experience this? I also had a crying spell today and just cried and cried and had to go into my boss's office and tell her I am overwhelmed and I am sorry. I ignore my anxious symptoms as best as possible while I am at work, but they are there seemingly non-stop. I took a Xanax and it did nothing for me but make me drowsy. The anxiety did not go away. I wasjust anxious and drowsy. Do you think this could be mania instead? I had a doctor once speculate I could be Bipolar II, and I have heard of mania causing anxiety.
