Mike, I agree with CrystalD, the best thing you can do for yourself is to be good to yourself. Try to really relax or meditate, take naps, eat healthy (but with plenty of comfort food as well) and give yourself a chance to get physically strong so you can cope with all of the rest. Don't feel ashamed - this happens to all of us and we're all good people. It stinks, but we can deal with it if we take care of ourselves.

Hi Mike All of the things you listed in your post can be a trigger for anxiety and panic. We tend to believe that it hits us "out of the blue" but thats not true. Cumulative stress is the culprit. Mid terms - kept your mind occupied and you were working very hard to do your best Relationship ended - wow theres a wealth of emotions and stress packed in this Lack of Sleep - makes you more sensitive physically and emotionally Poor diet - stress depletes the bodies vitamins and minerals at a fast rate [b]cause i dont know if its coming back again.. [/b] The [b]IT[/b] you are afraid of is just you being afraid of the way you are feeling. Do yourself a huge favor and get the book "Hope and Help For Your Nerves" by Claire Weekes. Believe in yourself, you have the strength inside to relax towards these feelings and accept them. Its only for a short time until you get rid of some of the stress and get rest and nutrition. Having [b]IT[/b] reappear so swiftly is nothing to worry about. Its only because the memory is there that it seems to happen and brings back the dread of feeling that way again. It is you, being sensitized, tired, fatigued. You are going to be ok. Dont ever be ashamed, just try again. Its not a test but acceptance of the fact that you have alot of stress you are dealing with and your mind is telling you "hey I am in overload here". Treat yourself as a best friend.

I had been doing decent i mean the last few months were pretty stressful, mid terms , gf dumped me etc but not real panic attacks.. then on my way to my psyc. i got one of the worst ones.. my stomach felt insantly empty and my mouth went complelty dry ( has anyone ever had a symptom like that?) and i still tried to keep going through it.. but i had to turn back and head home .. ashamed. Im on the verge of tears cause i dont know if its coming back again.. any words of advice? and can lack of sleep cause them along with a semi poor diet. Thank you Mike
