Hey Judy...I don't know your history because I just re-joined the group a couple of weeks ago. I assume you haven't had any attacks in a while and just got one last night?
I can tell you from experience that it happens. I went a couple of years without them and they returned out of no where one day. Found out that "out of no where" wasn't really the truth. THere were a lot of changes going on in my life that I didn't really consider stressful.....however my body did and it reacted. I went back to see a therapist and as he asked me questions about the things going on with me, he was able to point out that it was a lot. Some of us are just wired a little different and our bodies react differently.
Are there changes going on in your life? At home, work, with other family members. Have you moved recently? Think about whats been going on the past few days that might have triggered it. Calling your doctor might not be a bad idea either. Oh yeah....focus on your breathing!! Its so important when an attack occurs or you feel one coming on. I wish I could help you more....I am here though if you need to vent.
