I know u guys know deep down, but just to re-enforce it for u, no u won't stop breathing. Our bodies are an amazing thing and they won't just make us stop breathing for no reason. I used to worry about my breathing in the early days but I (and so can u then ) have learnt/more confident to forget about it. Cheerio!

I have exactly the same problem as You (in addition to other problems but now it seems the most prevalent). I imagine I have to control my breathing all the time "cos otherwise I'll stop breathing. I know breathing isn't conscious really but still my anxiety tells me i need to have this under control. i think exercising lessens this symptom - at least it does for me. Because then i am concentrating not on my breathing but on exercising.
Hello. I am new to this site. I am 19years old and have suffered from panic attacks since I was about 10. When they first started they would come about one every week, now for the past year or two they have been 24-7. My main focus is my breathing, I feel like if I dont make myself inhale and exhale that I will stop. Its a horriable thing to live through. I havent been on medication yet, I want to try to beat it on my own. I would love to meet people who can help me, and in turn I can help them.
