Fatigue

Hugs

I get blood tests done every so often to see if my liver and kidneys are still working fine. I'm lucky at my age that they are still good so I have no trouble with things like Tylenol. It doesn't have much for side effect. The meds I don't like are the artificial opiate's. I get less side effect off real Morphine if and when I need something that strong which is seldom. My blood pressure has dropped four fold since taking iron which makes no sense but works. Same as calcium works to prevent anxiety. Makes no sense but works. So I do it.

Well I need to get another coffee and water plants. Long days and I'm tired a lot but that is okay. Today I'm making stuff to put in the freezer for later. and I have to take my car in to get my tires changed. by the time I do some shopping My day will be done.

Davit, I'm better after a Tylenol, since I felt so miserable, and I slept so well! I've always had an aversion to medicine, fearing their side effects. I paid for this exaggerated fear(s) when my high blood pressure added to my stress, causing me to leave work eventually, and make greater efforts, resulting in clearing up a lot of issues when were neglected.

I'm tired, spring is here. Every available spot in the house has flats of plants started from seeds. 15 flats. Hundreds of plants under grow lights that will move to the green house soon. Spring is here but it is a lazy spring, cold and the snow is not going very fast. Geese are here and the robins and other birds.

This year I have a stove in my big green house. It is going to be a jungle too. We will have twice as many plants in it as last year. Spending money on repairs that won't have to be done again for a long time. Hired help to get some little chores done that kept getting put off. That helps with the anxiety to get them out of the way. Help will be back in a couple of days and we will get some more done. There are a couple of short days left. Today I have to get more supplies and charge batteries for the cordless drills. I have lots of cordless tools because I can't afford to trip over cords. Some things though still have to have power cords.

Hugs, I don't know if this will do you any good. Part of fatigue is attitude. It can be very tiring after a long winter. I ache a lot this time of year too from the barometer swings. A day wasted is a day lost so I take tylenol and keep on going because I feel a lot better going to bed tired than I do feeling hopeless. And tomorrow is another day. As my grandparents used to say, better to get something done even if it is wrong than to do nothing. I'm going to ache anyway, better to ache doing something.

Six inches of fresh snow has messed up my plans. I'll have to do something else. Tea break is over, back to work.
I have to dig out some chick feeders and clean them. I think we are going to get chickens. Baby chickens are so cute.

Maybe it's the shoveling, and the cumulative effect of other stressors outside of the longish winter, but I'm exhausted. What do others do to recover? I find I can't make the simplest decisions, and feel I'm getting further behind whatever expectations I have. It didn't help to have to sit for 3 hours in a doc's waitroom yesterday.
