You REALLY make a difference to my quit this time. Everyone has said, that this time I am different and calmer what am I doing that is different?
Tomorrow is going to be a tough night, but i just spoke to the guy whose party it is, and he quit smoking 3 months ago, and his girlfriend also quit after her father died of a smoke related illness - so maybe it wont be as bad.
I so understand what people are saying about not putting my quit into jeapordy - and to not go at all. I have and still am, thinking about that. Not going that is.
Whatever I couldnt lie, and certainly couldnt face coming back here and say that i had failed... but if I just stay in then that is the easy option and life is NOT easy. I have got over the nicotine addiction, the rest is habit and i need to move forward from that. I am very much in the mind - not one puff ever,as i know from previous experience that one puff will make me an addict again
Thank you for this wonderful place, and all of you wonderful people, you really do make a difference to my quit.
Thank you. I might not log in until Sunday - hopefully I will still be smoke free, I certainly intend to be, I am going to print out some threads to take with me.
Thank you - I really dp appreciate the time and energy that anyone has taken to respond. It makes a difference, where my boyfriend is talking about getting a pack to smoke just for the weekend. I am so glad you people are here. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! x
