Zoning out

for 18 år siden 0 19 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
3 days quit now. Doing ok but I keep zoning out, not myself, really weird I can't focus or keep my mind on one thing and I feel really slow. Hard to explain, feels like I'm drunk.

Carbon Monoxide and god knows whatever other poisens are leaving your body right now. Your brain is getting oxygen to it for the first time in ? How long? No wonder you feel spaced out. Its completely normal. Just whatever you do, dont let it tell you - I need to smoke, I dont like feeling like this, I want to feel normal, ok? The reason WHY you are feeling like this is because of all the nasty stuff in cigarettes. You are getting better, you are healing. I am in week 5 now and honestly I dont feel spaced out (well no more than usual I could be fairly scatty before anyway). I certainly do not feel like i felt in those first few weeks. How you are feeling right now is normal just dont let your mind play tricks on you! Jim, I have answered this question in your other thread, please consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Jim, Hang on very tight... If this continues, see your doc... You may want to download the SSC messenger so you can contact other members in real time... Your mind may be all over the place... Rest and breathe... be still if you need to... Make sure to eat healthy foods, get plenty of rest AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER... You are healing; your body is detoxing... Hi Jim, See this and this. Zoning out or that weird vague feeling are normal withdrawal symptoms. You'll feel better soon. Promise. :) Congrats on your 3 days! Not cravin', never cavin'.
