Hi to all of you New Quitters
I wanted to share this poem that I got from this site that helped me cope at that start of my quit.
I printed this poem out and kept it close by for a couple of months and it really helped me.
Hope it helps you as much as it did me.
[b]I don't need nicotine to keep on living. I don't need to smoke to feel alive.[/b]
[b]What I am feeling is my body and mind healing from years of substance abuse. [/b]
[b]This is a temporary feeling and will pass.[/b]
[b]I can and will live without nicotine.[/b]
[b]I do not need this drug to survive nor do I want to administer this drug to my system anymore.[/b]
[b]I am happy I quit despite how I feel at the present.[/b]
[b]The benefits from quitting far outweigh the symptoms during my temporary adjustment period.[/b]
