Unhooked, Try to keep in mind that your senses are now heightened by having quit. If you symptoms continue to cause you problems, consult your doctor. Danielle - Bilingual Support Specialist

Hey Unhooked! Lots of people have posted about sinuses giving them grief, in the first couple of months, (myself included) and if you already had an alergy, it could be worse because of that. Something to keep an eye on though, as good old smoking masks alot of things. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 107 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,675 Amount Saved: $1,128.85 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 3 Mins: 55 Seconds: 35

Unhooked, I would think that it will calm down as your body adjusts to the new you. It might take some time though. My last quit I got very bad canker sores in my mouth. They went away after awhile but it did take a month or two. Also got acid reflux with last quit and it has kicked in again on this one. I can't drink soda right now and I shouldn't be eating chocolate(fat chance). Maybe you need to call the dr. and have him adjust your meds. Good luck! Has anyone found they have more severe allergies since they quit? I have always had some mild seasonal & chemical sensitivities but the last month or so, I can't stand any perfume. I get a blinding headache immediately and sneeze for like an hour. Same with the pollen & grass, I can hardly go outside without medication. Will this continue or is it (please) part of the adjustment?
