I would put out my cigarette and think that's it I don't need these things. Then 20 minutes later I'd think well "just one" for now. I'd finish that and think that's it I don't need these things. Then 20 minutes later......
You get the picture. I only smoked "just one" all my life.

Well, this is my first day and I really want to quit for my health. But my brain is telling me, "Just one more, It will be o.k". and I know that I should not let that take over me. I just dread those cravings though. The reason for this is because my wife and I live with her parents and sadly my mother-in-law smokes like a chimney. So if I want to quit I have to try extra hard. The second hand alone is going to do me in. But I am determined to stop. I think with everyone's help I can beat this.
