Thanks for posting. Everyone has something valuable to add, and it always nice to hear new perspectives on this journey.
One of the things I did early in my quit (when I was going on vacation), which I think might help people during holiday celebrations, was to print out one of the more meaningful posts to me and keep it with me. When I was tempted to smoke I brought that baby out and read it. It worked, and strengthened my resolve. The other thing I did was ask a friend who was with me to help me guard my quit. Even tho she still smoked, she was very good at reminding me that I didn't really want to smoke when I was tempted.
