Angelic,
Be strong. Take heart and take heed. I, and all here, have travelled a similar but not same path. From my experience, when I've questioned the point of it all, the answer was in the origin of my quit. Who do you want to be? Why did you quit? Your answers lie within yourself.
Sorry to sound like Yoda or something, but this is the part where you have to let go and believe that this is all going to work out. You will make it to the other side of this. These feelings will pass and you will be alright. Trust in yourself. Be good and kind to yourself. You have earned this. Don't let the worry keep you from the wonderful place you want to be. It's there and you are getting closer one step at a time. Just make it through today, each day. You can do this.
Life or death, live or die. There is only do, there is no try.
Choice puts the free in freedom.
No hurries, no worries.
Keep on keepin' on - fish
