Well here it is day 4, I am bracing myself, as I feel like the calm before the storm. I haven't had any significant craving...matter of fact in the last 24 hours, only had one, it woke me up at like 3 am - but I was able to overcome it. The junkie in me tried to resolve that I could run out to the store..the MOM in me said you IDIOT ..your son is sleeping. So needless to say the level headed mom in me won out.
I woke this morning and had a great time with my son, instead of running downstairs for that early morning smoke, I spent it with him, waking him up and he woke up with a smile and a laugh..it took but 5 minutes to start his and my day off right. So different from last week.
Here was my day as a junkie
7 am - run to garage grab a quick smoke
715 am - wake up son and rush - him wake up crabby
720 am - run to garage grab a nerve calming smoke
730 am - run upstairs --- yellng at son to hurry up we're running late - grab shower
740 am - run to garage and have a quick one for the road - open garage door yell at son to hurry up.
8am -drop son off at school - light up another smoke on way to work.. 830 am arrive at work, get coffee go out for pre 9am smoke.
10 am - Smoke break
11 am - smoke break
12 pm - smoke break...you get the idea
Now day begins at 7am - shower - 715 wake up son, and enjoy breakfast, and talk and laugh and get out to school when we get there...I get to work arrive get my coffee and socialize with friends. And actually get work done throughout the day. Well okay ..so far been obsessing with posting and reading.
So now that the calm is here, when does the storm start. I am expecting cravings and so far so good..maybe the time is right, maybe I won't have anything to bad..but Just in case, I bought some patches last night, in case a craving comes along that I can't handle...better to be prepared with that ..then a mad dash to the store.
Hubby has been away and is coming home on Thursday ..and usually I use him as an excuse to start back. So I am a little scared on that..but I will have 5 days under my belt at that point, so it won't be that bad.
Anyways enough for today.. there is my ramble..now to read and read some more...dang gotta fit work in there too... so will work, read, work, read re
