I dont know if I can post pictures of it directly on here but heres the link to it if you want to see it.
A month ago my brother got back from Mexico. When he came back he gave me a gift from a religous mexican store. An ashtray with a skeleton with the words "No Fume" Which means No Smoking. Its supposed to represent that smoking causes death. Theres a day in Mexico called the day of the dead I dont know too much about it but it has something to do with this day.
anyways i was still smoking at that time and didnt think much of it reallly, i just laughed. I was actually going to use it as an ashtray but my sister said that will be contradicting its meaning and use so i decided not to.
Now that im quit it reminds me what might happen if i dont quit smoking and also a reminder that my brother loves and cares 4 me and doesnt want me to die from my smoking addiction.

Cool looking ashtray. And what a nice gift from your brother.
Day of the dead is what we celebrate as Halloween. Actually it is November 1 - we celebrate the eve of the day of the dead. Da de los Muertos. It is actually a day in Hispanic/Spanish cultures to honor our ancestors and those that went before us. From that came all of the lore about ghosts, cemeteries, skeletons etc.
Regardless I think this present is a great reminder of the dangers of smoking. I am glad to see it in Mexico, as the dangers of smoking and the dangers of pesticides are often under-advertised down there.
Enjoy your new smoke free life and a great candy dish! :p
