stoppin', what you are dealing with are "junkie thoughts" and we all have them. The addict in you is trying to undermine all of the good work you have done so far by making these little comments, thinking crazy thoughts, wanting to smell or watch someone smoking, etc.
It's great that you recognized it for what it is - crazy talk.
Keep strong and don't smoke!

Stoppin', good for you in realizing that with those words you were giving yourself a way out. I know what you mean about watching a smoker. I was in my car the other day, when someone drove in beside me smoking a cig. I watched him out of the corner of my eye. I was noticing .... how silly he looked with cig hanging out of his mouth...how bad he and his car must smell..... how he had to squint since the smoke kept going in his eyes. Not for 1 minuite did I wish it was me! YIPEEE!!! Keep Strong Stoppin' , we can do this!redrosie

I have been making this stupid stupid comment to my family. They will tell me how good I am doing or some kind of praise...and my response has been, thank you but, you know, I might just smoke again...don't want you to be too disappointed.
Well, darn it I am done with that line. I will never say that again. How dumb was that to say. Giving myself an out. Was I preparing them or me?
This is sort of funny...I have been wanting to "watch" someone smoke...I can't find anyone! I can't really stop someone that I don't know and ask them to hold still while I observe them inhaling. 98% of the people I spend my time with don't smoke. I know that is a good thing in the long run.
Good luck to all of us today as we work toward our goals...whatever and however simple/difficult they may be.

Stoppin...you're getting the quitters attitude! :)
Keep going. You are doing great. Every day gets better and better. Don't allow yourself any kind of out. You are fighting for your life! It is too important to give in to junkie thinking at any point or time.
Congratulations on 13 Days! Almost through Heck week!
