Well I'm sitting here reading all the posts in the different topic forums and it's so great to see old faces and new ones. For me it's always a pleasure to come in here and read how everyone is doing and to offer some words of encouragement when I can. Sometimes it's me needing the support and never once has anyone let me down. I'm just so shocked at being here that I can't help but post this. Who would have thought it. Me! A non smoker. It's almost a miracle. I will never take this quit for granted or think I've beaten it. I know for a fact that it would only take one weak moment for me to be a smoker again. I don't want to go back there. For those of you who feel like you have failed, remember this. You aren't a failure as long as you keep quitting. Keep going for a smoke free life and finally you will have it. Believe in yourself. You are worth this fight.
Keep the quit

Vicki...you are so right. I think that every one of us that are quit are miracles. I never thought I would be here either yet here I am. Thank God.
I second what you say to those struggling to quit. I struggled too for many years wanting to quit. Even now there are times I could go right back to where I was but I won't. The freedom from smoking is too unbelieveable to ever go back to the way things were.
