Question for everyone over 30 days quit

for 18 år siden 0 3368 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Close your eyes to the lies and open them to the truth: It is not hard to quit, it is easy. Believe it is easy and believe in yourself. Do not let fear of change, failure or physical withdrawal keep you from accomplishing your QUIT or anything else in life for that matter. Feel the fear and do it anyway!!! Hooyah!!! Read Allen Carr EasyWay to Stop Smoking ... preferably before giving up Mr Ed :)

I highly recommend this thread-it was one of the very first ones I read here on the first 24 hours of my quit and it really had an amazing impact. I've worked very hard to maintain a positive attitude and it is absolutely a must if your quit is going to be successful. We all have our days. (I had 2 just the other night LOL). A Quitters Tale I also bumped it in case the link doesn't work. Hi Stoppin - Welcome - I read the book Mr. Ed suggsted before I quit, it got me down to a couple cigs a day. The best advice I can give is to plan on everything changing and be flexible! Just know that some days are going to be easy, some days are going to be rough. I equate it to wading out into the ocean. Some of the waves will try to knock you down...but you get right back up, some waves you dive into - going down into your emotions - but you come back up to the surface, totally wet but elated. And some waves you are able to jump right over. Easy going! But the best advice I can give is - stay close to this site and post when you need help. Someone will always be here for you. Attitude! The faith, trust and absolute determination that are required to fight the addiction in both the physical and mental forms are an essential to a strong and sound quit. Cheers Phillip :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 105 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,100 Amount Saved: $787.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 2 Mins: 41 Seconds: 46

Hi, I would say - be willing to go through whatever nicodemon throws your way. Be it physical or mental and remember you only have to do it one day ay a time. N.O.P.E.(Not one puff ever!) I am building my arsenal this week...if you had just one piece of advise for a new quitter what would it be?
