When I first quit the days seemed so long, I thought they would never end. I counted in mins and then hours how long I had quit, then it went to days, then weeks then months. Now the days aren't near as long and I don't count the hours so I can go to bed and quit thinking about not smoking, in fact I have hours and hours that I dont think about it, when I do its usually because I see someone smoking or worse, I smell them :gasp:
I just wanted to let the new people joining and quitting, it does get better!!! I even forgot that it was 10 months today till my hubby reminded me, he bought me new taps for the basement laundry tubs for my reward lol. ( I really did want them)
If your wondering when it gets better or easier I am not sure of the answer because for everyone it is different, but rest assured it does get better and easier. One thing I remind myself all the time is how HARD the first 3 days were I NEVER want to go through that again!!
