Hi, Rekud.
One morning a few weeks into my quit I went out to the smoker's patio to visit with my friends. It stank, but I expected it to. No problem being around it, but later that day I kept smelling smoke. Everywhere I went I kept getting whiffs. Just figured being around it that morning triggered some memory, phantom odors. Until I got home and my wife looked at me real funny when she kissed me. She smelled it, too. Hours later after only about 10 minutes being around smokers outside, enough stink still clung. I wasn't smelling phantoms, I was smelling ME! :8o:
I don't even want to imagine what it would be like after being cooped up with a bunch for an extended time. Just think, we used to always smell like that. Gag!
