Hi cybrduke, GREAT Post! A Smile and a Laugh can make the day so much brighter.. Here is a few more.. 1. That lighter comes in handy for birthday candles. 2. Your ex-spouse wanted you to quit and you won't give him/her the satisfaction. 3. The occasional holes in your clothes give you a needed excuse to shop 4. If your sense of smell came back you'd have to do something about that litter box. 5. You wouldn't get any exercise at all if you didn't run outside the building every hour for a cigarette. 6. That rattle when you breathe reassures you that you're still alive. I like the one about the litter box. That's pretty good. My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 51 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,797 Amount Saved: $433.5 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 7 Mins: 49 Seconds: 34

Quitting causes tension, what better way to relieve tension than to laugh? Here's a short collection of some of the gems I've found out there on the internet... Q. What's the reult of smoking too much? A. Coffin. "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." -- Brook Shields Isn't having a smoking section in a restaurant like having a peeing section in a swimming pool? A cigarette is a pinch of tobacco, wrapped in paper, a fire at one end, a fool at the other. Smoking is the leading cause of statistics. -- Liza Minnelli Only in America do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front. Does it seem strange to you that cigarettes are sold in GAS stations? Warning: If you don't quit smoking, smoking WILL quit you. Warning: Cigarettes get shorter the more you puff -- so does your life. Cigarettes don't kill - smoking them does. Using alcohol in moderation won't make you an alcoholic, but using cigarettes in moderation makes you a smoker. You never smoke alone, someone is sharing your air. Wheres theres smoke theres hydrogen cyanide. Q. Excuse me, will it bother you if I smoke? A. A little, but it will kill you. "You smoke? It must be a relief to know how you'll die." -- anonymous Sign in a Nonsmoking Area: "If we see smoke, we will assume you are on fire and will take appropriate action." And finally: TOP 5 REASONS TO KEEP SMOKING: 1. You'd have too much money around if you didn't. 2. You feel that having more wrinkles makes you look distinguished. 3. Your constant coughing helps friends find you in a crowd. 4. you have no need for aftershave or perfume as no one will smell it over the all-pervasive odor of smoke. 5. You keep people in the ashtray industry employed. Like I said - I just had to share these - got any others? We need some humor on the board!
