for 19 år siden 0 415 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Could anyone tell me if its a normal process for my ears, nose, and throat to feel like sh*t? I mean it is all three and I can tell all 3 are involved...My thoart and ear is the worst..It has me completely off balanced and 1/2 dizzy...I wanted to see if this too shall pass or maybe I should go to the doctor...I also wake up at like 3am every friggin night for fun I guess...this is also driving me crazy...my ear and throat hurts or I don't know, feels weird..like pressure maybe not neccessarily pain...I am not sure...anyone else feel this??? Hi, ChickenStix. Ear, nose, and throat problems are common early in a quit. And since they're all connected, they interact with each other. What often happens is the lack of irritation from smoking causes the nose and throat to dry out. This allows an infection to set in that may move to the ear. I suggest you go see your doctor. This probably isn't anything serious, but it never hurts to check. Hi chicken, just to say, I also had lots of trouble sleeping for the first few weeks, I felt feverous and panicky and could not relax - some weird reaction to not giving my body the stimulation provided by nicotine.. But I have some wonderful news for you. I actually had always had difficulty sleeping for over 10 years, which I can now see may have been related to smoking from the beginning even when I occaisionally smoked at age 13. But since I have stopped smoking, I sleep so much better, every night... There are sill sometimes nights when I just can't rest, but they are very few and far between. Keep up the good work, your sore throat should help in a way when you remember how horrible it was smoking with a sore throat - the taste and feeling... YUCK! Congratulations on 16 days!!
