I don't have any patch experience (took the Wellbutrin route), but from what I've seen here the most you'll experience will be a few minor craves the day of the step-down. Some folks don't even have that.
My Mom, rest her soul, used to warn about "worrying something into existence". That is to say, if you worry about something long enough it will happen. The self-help gurus say the same thing with a reverse twist: "What you can believe, you can achieve." Same thing just a different direction.
She also used to say "Prepare for the worst, expect the best, and take what comes." That's the best advice I've ever heard for a quitter.
Even if craves do happen, Morningglory, just remember that they're only temporary. Just log on, post, read, and wait them out.
