Hi Ang, Thanks for this post. It's always good to know that people are staying quit. I agree with you that we still have to 'watch our step' at 100 days plus, but it's also good for the new quitters to know that it really does get better, given time. ..... and a happy 4 month quit next week! Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 103 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,099 Amount Saved: 772.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 5 Mins: 24 Seconds: 6

Wow Ang on an awesome quit Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Hey everyone! I hope everyone is still quit and isnt having to much difficulty. Especially my knights! ;-) I am pretty busy with work and qam really tired after work so I havent had much time to update!! I am still quit and finding it very easy! There are times when i am stressed to the max! and I still donnot smoke!! The thought doesnt even cross my mind anymorew when I am stressed! Sure, when I with my friends that smoke I get a bit tempted but I never act on an impulse, I know that if I did, I would so regret it!! I am really proud of myself! i never thought i would get this far and I am the doubters of all doubters!!! I am very critical of myself!! At first it wasnt the easiest but avoiding smoky situations for the first month if you can really helps! I feel like i am over the worst. I am definately not completely cured of my former addiction, it is always something i will have to watch. But just not as much as I did before. You can never be too confident but yet you shouldnt always be on edge and doubting your ability to remain smoke free. Thanks to everyone here that supported me and inspired me, it helped me out tremedously! To all the new quitters out there, this site is a very good resource to keep you quit becausew even though the people around you might smoke you dont have to because theres always great people here that don't!!
