Sheller,
Back on day 58 of my quit I had a miserable, all day crave. I came here and posted. It was beating me with a baseball bat. Finally, in the afternoon, after about 7-8 hours of putting up with it I went to a local Dairy Queen and killed it off with a delicious ice cream treat. Since that time I've not had anything even close to that.
Yes, I fully expect to get a "crave", or better put, a "thought" about smoking in the future. I've already had many little thoughts from time to time, but I very quickly dismiss them. The bottom line is that it's up to you whether you give the crave or thought power over you. The crave will be as bad as you make it. Never forget that. We control our responses to stimuli.
You know what quitting is all about. The more you just go about your life, without thinking about cigarettes, the less impact it will have on you. Be confident. You haven't smoked in months. At this point it will be a conscious effort on your part to pick them up again. Don't let them control you ever again.
Remember....
If I have just one I will be back where I started. Where I started was desperately wishing I could be where I am today.
