N2K,
Thanks for posting this!!!
The funny thing about this, is that I have just NATURALLY started doin this! And at work, I am thinking 'my God why am I drinking so much decaf, I never do this' LOL. Well I suppose my body is trying to tell me something. That's something I learned in a recent nutrition workshop I attended, that if you are craving some sort of food that does't seem to fit in your normal routine of eating, then that's your body's way of telling you there's something in the food that your body is saying 'yes that's what I need'. It actually has the ability to SENSE whether something will be good for you or not.
Like, for example, did you ever notice how when you smoked and went to reach for one, you weren't smiling, in fact, you were kind of frowning or feeling like you really didn't want one? Have you ever cringed at the thought of 'having' to smoke one, even though you knew your body didn't want one? Has the thought ever crosed our minds when we smoked that our bodies were trying to tell us something back then? WOW.
Thanks again for posting this N2K. You've given ALOT of 'food' for thought here!!
Many Blessings,
Eve
