thanks for the post gman,
I tried to be an honest quitter on this site. I gave encouragement and shared my joy and pain. The last time i slipped an scc member accused me of only posting when I slipped, by saying "the only time we hear from bovary is when she slips", which was not true. That was not tough love. It was just mean. And, noone came to my defense. (that probably hurt the most) Maybe all were thinking, "oh, she has slipped to many times, don't waste time on her" After that, I left the site. It was unfortunate for me, because i liked this site. Unlike with my experience, this site should give people help and encouragement no matter how many times they slip. Tough love is also so good, but not condemnation and sarcasm. If it is in their heart, (which just being here shows that it is), they will persist until they get it right, as I am. And they deserve our support.
